Fairy Meadows is located in Diamer District of Gilgit-Baltistan region, Pakistan. It is famous for its beautiful lush green plateaus and near one of the base camps of World’s ninth biggest mountain Nanga Parbat (the Killer Mountain). At an altitude of about 3,300 meters above the sea level, it serves as the launching point for trekkers summiting on the Rakhiot face of the Nanga Parbat. Government of Pakistan has declared Fairy Meadows as a National Park back in 1995.  It has a large camping site spread over 2 acres, known as “Raikot Serai”.

Day 1

  • Departure from Islamabad to Chilas, normally it is 7-8 hours journey.
  • Night Stay: Chilas Shangrila

Day 2

  • Move to Fairy Meadows by road (2 hrs) via Raikot Bridge, 2 hrs journey on Jeeps and then trekking for Fairy Meadows.
  • Night Stay: Fairy Meadows

Day 3

  • Visit to Nanga Parbat Base Camp
  • Night Stay: Base Camp

Day 4

  • Trek back to Tatto Village, move to Jeeps for Raikot Bridge
  • Night Stay: Chilas Shingrila

Day 5

  • Checkout to Islamabad
